Pleats are basted into position and then pressed along with the apron to restore the original look and swing of your kilt.  Under-pleats are also pressed to restore proper alignment and consistent swing.
 
Note:  A surcharge applies to military box pleated kilts as the pleat-faces require extensive basting before pressing.
