The repaired bar tack will be longer and stronger than the original, firmly binding the canvas and helping prevent the pleat from blowing-out at the buckle.
If the canvas is found to be inadequate and contributing to the problem, we will recommend replacing the canvas as well.
 
NOTE:  Abraided or torn cloth cannot be repaired to like-new, but can be stabilized.  And repairing the bar tack will help prevent further damage.
